# Google Docs Integration

> Share a Drive folder with Pavo's service account so it can learn from your Docs and Sheets.

## Setup (one-time, \~2 minutes)

1. In your Google Drive, create a folder named `<YourCompany>-Pavo` (or any name you prefer).
2. Copy any Docs and Sheets you want Pavo to learn from into this folder.
3. Share the folder with `<YourCompany>@iam.gserviceaccount.com` with Viewer access.
4. Go to `<YourCompany>.pavoai.com/settings/workspace-connectors`, or let someone at Pavo know to do steps 4 & 5 for you.
5. Click on connected\_sources > gsuite connectors and then sync now.

That's it. Pavo will ingest the content of the files accessible to `<YourCompany>@iam.gserviceaccount.com`

## A few notes

1. Treat the folder as your source of truth for what's in Pavo. If it's in there, assume anyone on your team with access to the pavo-`<YourCompany>` instance can retrieve information from it.
2. Permissions on individual files inside the folder are not mirrored into Pavo; ingestion is all-or-nothing per file. Don't put a doc in the folder unless you're okay with every `<YourCompany>` user with access to the Pavo instance being able to query its content.
